CLMS-Cities in Limassol: Accelerating Local Climate Action
At the end of March 2026, CLMS-Cities was presented at the “Climate Neutral Blue Cities by 2030: Accelerating Local Change” event held in Limassol.
The meeting marked an important milestone for the project, as both Limassol and Thessaloniki formally joined CLMS-Cities as Tier-2 cities. On this occasion, the project also signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Climanet-GR/CY, the network bringing together six Greek cities and one Cypriot city participating in the EU Cities Mission.
This collaboration is a key step for the project’s upscaling within the Mission.
