CLMS-Cities at the EU Cities Mission General Assembly in Torino
CLMS-Cities was presented at the CLMS Plenary Users Session, held on 23–25 June 2026, where the project received strong recognition within the Copernicus Land Monitoring Service ecosystem — a notable achievement given that CLMS-Cities operates under a CLMS evolution call.
The project is also gaining visibility within the Copernicus Atmosphere Monitoring Service (CAMS) and other Copernicus Core Services. During the event, the team held extensive discussions with Laurence Rouil, the new Director of CAMS, who expressed strong interest in CLMS-Cities and its relevance to CAMS’ own objectives. She kindly invited the project to present at the next CAMS General Assembly in mid-October.
This growing connection with the wider Copernicus ecosystem is a key step for the project’s long-term exploitation, supporting a potential upscaling at European level after the project concludes.
